Brantley Gilbert is preparing to release his eighth studio album, Sins of the Father, on July 24. The project follows 2024’s Tattoos and marks his first full-length release with his new label partnership.
Built around 15 songs co-written by Gilbert and produced alongside longtime collaborator Brock Berryhill, the album reflects different stages of his life while leaning heavily into the rock-inspired sound that has shaped much of his career. Gilbert wrote on Instagram: “My new album “SINS OF THE FATHER” is coming out July 24th! I’ve lived a lot of life to get here… This record is me owning all of it – the mistakes, the lessons and who I am now. It’ll remind y’all of some of the earlier stuff! To celebrate, my new song “F****D ME UP” is out now”
The album’s lead single, Good Damn, is already gaining traction at country radio after earning one of the strongest debut add weeks of Gilbert’s career. The tracklist will also feature a collaboration with Jelly Roll titled Begging for Change.
Along with the announcement, Gilbert released the emotional piano-driven ballad F*cked Me Up, inspired by his wife. A radio-friendly version titled Messed Me Up is also available, and a clean edition of the full album will arrive the same day as the standard release. Listen to ‘Messed Me Up’ – HERE.
In addition to the new music, Gilbert is set to spend the coming months headlining concerts and appearing at fairs and festivals through September.
