Dan + Shay – comprised of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney – have released “Marry You Again,” a heartfelt new single that continues the rollout for their upcoming sixth studio album, Young, due Aug. 21 via Warner Records Nashville. The romantic track follows previously released songs “Young” and “Say So,” offering another preview of what the Grammy-winning pair have described as their most personal project to date.
The song arrives after Smyers and Mooney spent recent weeks surprising fans by appearing at weddings across Tennessee, where they gave couples an early performance of “Marry You Again” before its official release. One of those appearances came at a Murfreesboro wedding, where the duo performed several songs and joined guests on the dance floor, creating a memorable moment that quickly gained attention online. They also previewed the track during CMA Fest earlier this month as anticipation for the album continued to build.
Built around a message of enduring commitment, the song’s chorus includes the promise, “I’d find you, I’d kiss you, I’d love you, I’d marry you again,” reinforcing the duo’s signature focus on lifelong romance. The release aligns with the themes explored throughout Young, which Smyers and Mooney have said reflects where they are personally and creatively after spending more time writing and recording together than they had in years.
Dan + Shay will also hit the road to support Young with ‘The Young Tour,’ which begins in September and will feature Tyler Hubbard and Josh Ross on most dates. For details, head HERE.
