The Americana Music Association has revealed another wave of performers for the 2026 AmericanaFest, adding acclaimed artists including Melissa Etheridge, Wynonna Judd and Amy Grant to this year’s festival roster.
The annual event is scheduled for Sept. 15-19 in Nashville and will feature more than 170 showcasing artists performing across many of the city’s renowned music venues, with additional acts expected to be announced in July. The latest lineup also includes Judy Collins, Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Buddy Miller, Sonny Landreth, Jim Lauderdale, Shakey Graves, Morgan Wade and a wide-ranging mix of established performers and emerging talent that reflects the festival’s roots-focused mission. The expanded announcement builds on earlier lineup reveals, continuing AmericanaFest’s tradition of blending legendary artists with rising voices from across the Americana, folk, country, blues and rock genres.
The week also will feature the annual Americana Honors & Awards at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, one of the festival’s signature events celebrating influential artists and the next generation of Americana performers. Taking place Sept. 16 at the famed Ryman Auditorium, the 25th annual Americana Honors & Awards will feature Robert Plant with a special performance as a 2026 recipient of the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Other performers include Margo Price, Brandi Carlile, Boy Golden, Crowe Boys, Flatland Cavalry, Jesse Welles, Kathleen Edwards, Ken Pomeroy, Molly Tuttle, Mon Rovîa and S.G. Goodman. In addition, a special performance is planned to honor the late Dolly Parton, who will also be honored as a lifetime achievement award honoree.
The 2026 Honors & Awards show will stream live via NPR’s YouTube channel and Americana Music Association’s Facebook on September 16th at 7:30 pm ET.
