Fifteen years after his breakthrough audition on American Idol, Scotty McCreery is marking the milestone with a new retrospective album titled ’15,’ arriving July 17.

The project highlights some of the country star’s biggest career moments while also introducing several fresh recordings. Reflecting on the anniversary, McCreery shared, “Man, fifteen years go by like a flash.” He noted that while his first American Idol audition in Milwaukee sometimes feels recent, at other times it feels far away. He also credited his success to “my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my family, my team, and all the fans who have supported me through these 15 years.”

The album combines nine fan-favorite tracks with four new additions. Among the new recordings is a special duet version of “Your Man” with Josh Turner, the artist behind the original hit and one of McCreery’s longtime musical inspirations. The collaboration carries extra meaning, as Turner famously surprised McCreery during his hometown American Idol concert in Garner, North Carolina, back in 2011.

McCreery explained that he has admired Turner ever since hearing “Long Black Train” and called recording “Your Man” together a full-circle moment. He praised Turner for becoming both a mentor and close friend over the years, adding that the singer even inducted him into the Grand Ole Opry.

Turner responded with humor and appreciation, saying, “I’m very honored to have been asked to sing on my song, ‘Your Man,’ on Scotty’s new project.” He joked, “Of course, I take credit for all of his success! 🙂 Congrats to Scotty on 15 years! It’s no small feat.”

Alongside the duet, 15 will include McCreery’s versions of Conway Twitty’s “Hello Darlin”” and Kris Kristofferson’s “Why Me, Lord?” The project also features a new song titled “Been a Good Run.” The full track list includes: See You Tonight,” “Five More Minutes,” “This Is It,” “In Between,” “You Time,” “Damn Strait,” “Cab in a Solo,” “It Matters to Her,” “Bottle Rockets” featuring Hootie & the Blowfish, “Your Man” featuring Josh Turner, “Hello Darlin””, “Been a Good Run,” and “Why Me, Lord?”
