Luke Combs has extended his record-setting run at country radio, with “Be By You” becoming his 23rd consecutive solo single to reach No. 1 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart.
The achievement continues Combs’ record for the most consecutive No. 1 singles by an artist at the beginning of a career. “Be By You,” written by Dan Alley, Sam Banks and Nick Walsh, previously reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in August, marking Combs’ 21st leader on the ranking at that time. The song also gives Combs his 27th No. 1 overall when collaborations are included.
The latest milestone adds to a strong year for Combs, whose album “The Way I Am” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200. He also received three nominations for the 60th annual CMA Awards: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for “The Way I Am.”
Combs is set to continue his “My Kinda Saturday Night Tour” in 2027, with stadium dates scheduled across the United States and Canada. The tour follows a 2026 run that included sold-out performances at venues including London’s Wembley Stadium and Ireland’s Slane Castle.
