The War and Treaty announced they will release their new EP, Country Baptism, on September 4th.
Country Baptism features the title track (which the husband-and-wife team of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter debuted with a live TV performance on America’s Got Talent), as well as the previously released “It’ll Hurt Me More Than It’ll Hurt You.”
The duo are also gearing up to embark on a major headlining concert series across the United States this fall. The cross-country trek will launch on Oct. 7 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the Walton Arts Center. Throughout October and November, the prominent musical duo will make consecutive appearances across numerous states, including Utah, California, Texas, and Illinois, before concluding their multi-city run on Nov. 22 at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Gainesville, Florida.
This extensive fall itinerary follows the recent arrival of the group’s studio album, The Story of Michael and Tanya. The 10-track collection features a diverse array of prominent guest artists, including collaborative contributions from Valerie June, Wynonna, and Whoopi Goldberg. For ticket info, head HERE.
