Tyler Hubbard is ushering in a new phase of his solo career with the release of his latest single, “Land,” out via MCA. The track appears to be the first preview of Hubbard’s upcoming third solo album and the follow-up to Strong, which was released in April 2024.
Blending reflective, coming-of-age storytelling with a powerful, stadium-ready chorus, “Land” explores the defining moments of growing up—early relationships, painful breakups, carefree summers, lessons from family, faith, and the process of rebuilding after setbacks. Hubbard shares: “My new song, ‘Land,’ is about overcoming the hurdles and curveballs life throws our way. We’ve all faced tough seasons that force us to dig deep and trust that even when our plans fall apart, God’s plans are still at work. I hope this song resonates with you and brings hope to anyone walking through a difficult time.”
The release also arrives at a pivotal moment in Hubbard’s solo journey — while he recently reached the Top 25 with Nate Smith on “After Midnight,” he has not scored a major solo radio hit since “Park” reached No. 1 on the charts in August. Hubbard is expected to support his new music with extensive touring later this year, including dates alongside Dan + Shay as well as solo shows across the country.
