Justin Moore has temporarily paused touring and canceled several upcoming appearances, including scheduled dates alongside Riley Green on the “Cowboy As It Gets” tour, as he focuses on undisclosed health concerns.
The Arkansas native announced the decision in a message to fans, writing, “I’ve made the decision to take some time to focus on my health.” He added, “This is the right decision for me and my family,” while thanking supporters for their understanding and saying he hopes to return to the stage later this summer. Moore did not reveal the nature of the health issue.
The break affects headlining shows as well as performances planned with Green later this month. Among the canceled appearances are dates at Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach, Delaware. The 42-year-old singer had recently continued performing despite suffering a torn MCL in a skiing accident earlier this year, often appearing onstage wearing a brace.
Moore, known for hits including “Small Town USA,” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” and “Til My Last Day,” has not provided a timetable beyond expressing optimism about returning to touring later in the summer.
