Amazon Music has released a new installment of its Songline docu-performance series featuring Shaboozey, with an eight-track album of reimagined performances available now exclusively on the platform and a full accompanying film set to premiere Oct. 23.
The project was recorded at Rancho Deluxe in Santa Clarita, California, and offers stripped-down versions of songs from the Grammy-nominated artist’s catalog. “Cowgirl” is currently available as the first preview from the visual project; take a look HERE.
The Songline format focuses on songwriting and artistic process, pairing intimate performances with interviews in which artists discuss the stories and creative decisions behind their music. Shaboozey’s eight-song set includes “Til Sunday,” “Sweet Revenge,” “Amen,” “Born To Die,” “If I Was An Outlaw,” “Cowgirl,” “Coyotes Point” and “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
The release extends Shaboozey’s recent relationship with Amazon Music. His Amazon Music Original “Let ’Em Know” serves as the opening theme and official anthem for Thursday Night Football on Prime Video, while he previously headlined the fourth season of Amazon Music Live in 2025. His set on the series included “Let ’Em Know,” “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” “Good News” and “Amen.”
The Songline project also arrives as Shaboozey continues promoting his 2026 concept album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales. Released through his American Dogwood imprint in partnership with EMPIRE, the album has inspired the ongoing Outlaws Never Die Tour, which incorporates pre-recorded visuals into the live show to expand on the record’s Western narrative.
