Megan Moroney will help turn the Grand Ole Opry pink this fall as part of the 18th annual ‘Opry Goes Pink’, an event dedicated to supporting the fight against breast cancer. The 18th annual Opry Goes Pink will once again use the iconic pink-lit Opry backdrop to spotlight breast cancer awareness and support those affected by the disease.

The annual event brings country artists and fans together during Breast Cancer Awareness Month while raising money and awareness for the breast cancer community. Moroney will perform and “flip the switch” on the Opry’s signature barn backdrop during the Oct. 27 event at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The evening will feature additional performances from Opry member Mandy Barnett, Deana Carter and Mackenzie Carpenter, among others.

As part of the fundraiser, $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Susan G. Komen to support patient care services, education and advocacy. The partnership between the Grand Ole Opry and Komen has made Opry Goes Pink an annual Nashville tradition, with previous editions featuring artists including Carrie Underwood, Carly Pearce, Trisha Yearwood, Ashley McBryde and Amy Grant taking part in the ceremonial lighting of the Opry barn.

Tickets for the Oct. 27 performance are available through the Grand Ole Opry, with the event scheduled for 7 p.m. For details head to: OpryGoesPink.com.
