A decade after its debut, Cole Swindell is revisiting one of the most meaningful milestones of his career. His second studio album, You Should Be Here, originally released on May 6, 2016, is getting a 10th Anniversary Limited Edition vinyl release to commemorate its lasting impact.
The project proved to be a major breakthrough for Swindell, earning Platinum certification and generating a string of hits that dominated country radio. Among them were three consecutive No. 1 singles: “Middle of a Memory,” “Flatliner” featuring Dierks Bentley, and the deeply personal title track, “You Should Be Here.” The latter, written in memory of his late father, became his fifth straight chart-topper and held the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for four weeks, reaching the summit in just 15 weeks.
Over time, the album has continued to resonate, amassing more than two billion streams worldwide and topping the iTunes Top Country Albums chart. Its emotional centerpiece, “You Should Be Here,” stands as a defining moment in Swindell’s catalog, achieving multi-week No. 1 success and multi-platinum status.
Swindell is set to return to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on September 9, following his sold-out debut at the venue in 2024. He’ll be joined by veteran country group Blackhawk and rising artist Zach John King for the highly anticipated performance.
